Applications

We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by e-mail or post). In the following we will inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that your data will be collected, processed and used in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions and that your data will be treated strictly confidentially.

Scope and purpose of data collection

If you send us an application, we process your associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) insofar as this is necessary for a decision on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG-neu according to German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (general contract initiation) and - if you have given your consent - Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Consent may be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons who are involved in the processing of your application.

If the application is successful, the data submitted by you will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of § 26 BDSG-neu and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.

Retention period of the data

If we are unable to make you a job offer, you reject a job offer, withdraw your application, revoke your consent to data processing or request us to delete the data, the data transmitted by you including any remaining physical application documents will be stored for a maximum of 3 months after completion of the application process (retention period) in order to be able to trace the details of the application process in the event of discrepancies (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).

YOU MAY OBJECT TO THIS STORAGE IF YOU HAVE LEGITIMATE INTERESTS THAT OUTWEIGH OUR INTERESTS.

After expiry of the retention period, the data will be deleted unless there is a statutory retention obligation or other legal reason for further storage. If it is evident that the storage of your data will be necessary after expiry of the retention period (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), deletion will only take place when the data has become irrelevant. Other legal storage obligations remain unaffected.

Facebook Pixel

We use "Facebook Pixel" on this website, a service provided by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). Facebook Pixel is an analysis tool that allows us to track the behavior of users of our website when they have reached our website via Facebook ads. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising measures and optimize our offer.

Through Facebook Pixel, cookies are stored on your end device when you visit our website, which contain a pseudonymous identification number. These are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your internet browser. The cookies generated by Facebook enable Facebook to link your visit to our website with your Facebook account, if you have such an account. This allows us to show you personalized ads on Facebook that match your interests.

The data collected will be used exclusively by us and Facebook and will not be passed on to third parties. We have concluded an order processing agreement with Facebook to ensure that the data is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your Internet browser. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent.

In addition, you can disable the use of the Facebook pixel for interest-based ads by visiting the "Ads Settings" page on Facebook.

The processing of your data by means of the Facebook pixel is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis and optimization of our website as well as in targeted advertising for our products and services. By evaluating user behavior on our website, we can design our advertising measures more effectively and present users with relevant content.

You have the right to object to this processing of your data. You can find more information about this in the "Opt-out" option in the privacy policy or by using the settings for advertisements on Facebook.

Please note that the objection is only valid for the future and has no effect on the lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the objection.

For more information on data processing by Facebook and the data protection rights to which you are entitled, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy.

Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always corresponds to the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. Your renewed visit will then be subject to the new data protection declaration.

Corporate pages in social media

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to be able to communicate with customers, interested parties and users active there and to inform them about our services.

We would like to point out that user data may be processed outside the European Union. This can result in risks for users, as it could, for example, make it more difficult to enforce the rights of users. With regard to US providers that are certified under the Privacy Shield, we would like to point out that by doing so they commit themselves to comply with EU data protection standards.

In addition, user data is usually processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, user profiles can be created on the basis of user behavior and the resulting interests of users. The usage profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements inside and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For these purposes, cookies are usually stored on the user's computer in which the user's usage behaviour and interests are stored. Furthermore, data can also be stored in the user profiles independently of the devices used by the users (in particular if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).

The processing of the personal data of the users takes place on the basis of our legitimate interests in effective information of the users and communication with the users in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f. DSGVO. If the users are requested by the respective providers of the platforms to consent to the aforementioned data processing, the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a., Art. 7 DSGVO.

For a detailed description of the respective processing operations and the opt-out options, we refer to the following linked information of the providers.

Also in the case of requests for information and the assertion of user rights, we point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the providers. Only the providers have access to the data of the users and can directly take appropriate measures and give information. Should you nevertheless need help, you can contact us.
