Six systems, each approximately 6 x 18 meters, fully designed as an upside down variant
Layertec had several requests that needed to be fulfilled, which initially presented us with new challenges. They wanted a system that could be used in conditions beyond just the cleanroom. Another challenge was the steel construction, which was not typical due to the structural engineer’s specifications requiring a load capacity of 1000 kg.
The hall columns were not to be drilled into but instead clamped. Dowelling them into the floor was also not allowed. Therefore, we installed special clamps on the hall columns and custom suspensions on the ceiling joists.
Ultimately, six 6 x 18 m systems were fully completed as upside-down variants, meeting all customer requirements.
